Background
Thysan was the captain of a Simiyiar-class freighter, the Sphyrna, running cargo for the Mon Cala shipyards. When the Empire attacked, Thysan just barely escaped with a small group of other Mon Cal starships. In the ensuing days, the Sphyrna was converted into an electronic attack ship, and stuffed to the gills with jammers, decoys, and antennas. Thysan served both as a scout, using the Sphyrna's sensors to soak up enemy signals before battles, as an escort jammer, blasting enemy systems with noise in combat.
The Sphyrna was captured by the Empire, but Thysan escaped and made his way back to the Alliance. He found a slot as a B-Wing pilot, and is now looking to incorporate his electronic attack skills into his squadron.

Description
Thysan is a squat Mon Calamari. He's rarely out of his flight gear, and always seems fidgety when he's not in the cockpit or underwater. The bulbous scanner goggles he keeps on his forehead make him look like he has four eyes.
