Background

Cyclops was originally known as Swatter, after he displayed a knack for taking down Geonosians in mid-flight, like they were bugs. However, during his post with the 77th Clone Legion, his comrades referred to him as Cyclops due his insistence on not taking a shot until he had dialed the target into his sights. His scope was like one eye. While he used a rifle primarily, he was also known to rush headlong into battle wielding nothing but a combat knife - and coming out on top.

Motivation

Why do the Jedi receive all the credit? Granted, orders must be followed, but does that mean we [clones] are unworthy of recognition? Talk and guesswork are cheap next to results, the simulations don't amount to much if things change when you can actually smell the blaster gas hissing from your latest carbon scoring. They don't tell you about that in the holos. But the holos will show results of what we do, and it is up to us to make those happen! We are a team, and while I try to destroy our enemy's high-value targets, my squadmates will protect me from the higher quantity of low-value targets. Through this, we will gain a name for ourselves.

Description

Cyclops wears standard issue clone armor, though it shows signs of wear and tear. Replacement armor plating doesn't happen unless necessary. He has also taken a liking to wearing a cloak of sorts, that matches his surroundings, and using camo paint during recon or ambush missions. He carries his DC-15 rifle with ease, like it is an extension of his body, though his knife is always at hand if CQC becomes necessary.
