Akesho originally lived in a small forest tribe on her home world of Shili with her family and partner Sakam. She was a skilled hunter due to her excellent stealth and perception, and was a valued member of her community.

During one hunt, the party was attacked by an akul. The party managed to defeat the beast, however Akesho's partner and several others were badly wounded in the battle. The party chose to head back to the tribe with their prize and leave the wounded behind, due to the Togruta belief that those who could not keep up should be left to fend for themselves. Akesho went against this decision, and aided Sakam and the other wounded in their journey back to the tribe. This decision didn't go down well as this was seen as a great insult to the wounded, and upon their return, all tribe members (including Akesho's partner) shunned her for her actions as she was seen to have interfered with nature's way.

This grew to resentment overtime, as it was seen that Akesho's thoughts and motivations were too individualistic and not in keeping with the way of nature. Eventually, this lead to the tribe leader outcasting Akesho from the tribe. Akseho was rejected by her partner Sakam, who refused to leave with her.

Feeling abandoned by her family, Akesho vowed to leave Shili and never return. After several days of travel, Akesho came across a ship which had landed within the scrub land, in which she decided to stow away within in order to leave her home world. She managed to stay hidden within the ship for almost 9 days before the crew detected her.

The crew initially wished to kill Akesho for stowing away and stealing their supplies, however after further thought they decided to keep her prisoner and return to their base. Upon arrival, Akesho was brought to a Lieutenant who explained that they were apart of an organisation known was the Galactic Scout Corps, and has been on Shili to gather information for a mission.

The Lieutenant was impressed with Akesho's ability to remain hidden for so long on a ship full of spies, and offers her a place among their organisation. With nothing else to live for, Akesho accepted their offer and underwent a grueling test of her body, mind, and loyalty.

Her time with the Galactic Scout Corps has gained her knowledge of skullduggery and deception, as well as computers and detailed knowledge of warfare. This, added to her previous experience of stealth, survival, and perception, have allowed Akesho to become a valuable member to the Galactic Scout Corps.

Akesho considers this organisation to be her new family, and as such, is duty bound to them. She has no interest or loyalty to either the Empire or the Rebellions, and will gladly work for any cause the Galactic Scout Corps request.
