Crash-landing on Nal Hutta during one of her first pilot excursions as a bounty hunter, Cataiya lost both her ship and her sense of self-reliance. During the rough entry, shards of jagged metal caused serious injuries. Losing her right eye and left ear, along with her right hand and a lung, she was left unconscious amongst the wreckage of her once pride and joy. Waking up in a foul-smelling palace, she turned down to her body to see her missing appendages and organs replaced with adequate cybernetics. The ruling Hutt of Wahx'akox'a Town, Chujii, looked her over as she met with him, placing the debt of credits upon her head. Without a shred of care, she was cast out onto the streets to fend for herself, left with only what she carried at the time... including the credits she'd hidden before finding misfortune. Left without an escape and the dread of a high debt, Cataiya would begin to search for ways to free herself and leave the planet behind.

Freedom from debt, and a hidden desire to help others from their own personal traps and vices. 1,500 credits will buy her a fresh start from scratch and give room to return to her hunting.

Standing just above the average height for most Human females, Cataiya rose to find herself at 5'6". With olive skin and dark brown hair, her eyes would be green and rest amongst dark lashes. Going only by Cataiya, the small-framed Human would dream to make a name for herself before her accident and servitude to Chujii. Despite her setbacks, Cataiya has managed to retain some of her humor and naivety, enjoying occasional drinks in sleazy bars and jokes between the mingling aliens that surround her.
