Found as just an egg, Grosh was destined to be a jedi. The jedi who found him could feel the strong connection with the force. The egg was brought back to the Jedi temple. Jedi Master Windu had been thinking of getting an apprentice and heard about the arrival of the new possible jedi. He decided when the baby Trandoshan became of age he would train him in his art of Juyo. Few Jedi knew how to use this art and stick to the values of the Jedi Order. Trandoshan’s have a intrinsic instinct to hunt. He would be taught to use his intense emotions of the hunt to funnel them into his lightsaber swings. The training was going well until one day Master Windu came to him with bad news. With the start of Clone Wars he would no longer be able to train him. He also believed Grosh still didn’t have full control over himself and he wouldn’t be able to keep his calm in the heat of battle. Therefore he could no longer be his teacher. No other Jedi would continue his training in that reckless art. Without a master he was left on his own to figure out how to control his own darkness.
