Background

Ga'ronk knows little of the time before the repairs, Ga'ronk was not sentient then. It matters little.

Ga'ronk's first legible memory is of the inside of a salvage ship, surrounded by scavengers. Ga'ronk awoke both from sleep mode and from insentience after having been altered. The scavengers made Ga'ronk understand what it was, a simple power droid. Ga'ronk preferred the time before sentience.
Ga'ronk was repaired and improved by replacing his computer core with the heads of 3 DUM pit droids together. This has side effects.

The scavengers repaired Ga'ronk. Making him a functional power droid again. Ga'ronk was grateful to have a purpose and, for a time, aided them. Ga'ronk was useful as an assistant.

After some time as a mobile power source, the ship was raided by the Empire. Ga'ronk was witness to the slaughter of those his considered acquaintances. Ga'ronk was not close to most of the meatbags, only the mechanic they assisted was a friend. The mechanic, a small jawa called Yook, hid inside the Component storage of Ga'ronk.

After being stored with the rest of the salvage, Yook emerged from the storage compartment and transformed Ga'ronk from a meek crafting aid droid into an automated weapon platform. Armour from the fallen acquaintances was welded to Ga'ronk chassis. The helmet was used to protect the joint where a blaster rifle was mounted.

Yook gave Ga'ronk life.
Yook saved Ga'ronk's life.
Ga'ronk will repay the debt.
Ga'ronk successfully blasted their way out.
Ga'ronk got a taste for imperial blood.
Ga'ronk was taken, by Yook, to a group that also hate imperials.
Ga'ronk has found a purpose.

Motivation

Code - No collateral damage
Yook was a scavenger, not a warrior. He would not want war. But Ga'ronk was built for combat. Peace was never an option. Ga'ronk can still honour Yook by focusing my destruction on those who deserve it.
Ga'ronk shall not hurt innocents. Both during combat and non-combat missions.

The last day I saw Yook was the day he left me with the SFL. He was a good friend so I shall honour the last order he gave me. Until we meet again, my friend. o7

Description

A 1m tall GNK droid with plates from various miss matching armours haphazardly welded onto the chassis. A Flachette Launcher protrudes from an old Riot Gear helmet.

The chassis is a dull grey with green armour plates.

Ga'ronk talks via a speech modulator taped inside the helmet. Though Ga'ronk can communicate in many languages, Gonkian is preferred.
