Background
Born on Balmorra, Dac Quess had always wanted more. Growing up, Dac saw the what his parents went through as they slaved for the arm manufacturers and realized he didn't want to end up like them: slaving away for next to nothing until you die. He always looked to the stars but his poor grades, inattentiveness to detail and general dislike of authority left him in at odds with his goal. No one reputable wanted him as a pilot or on their ships. The only people that were willing to take him on were the disreputable kind.
Dac did whatever he could to get on a ship off of Balmorra. This led him to the offices of Torrill Cath, a criminal that would skim shipments from the legitimate manufacturers and sell them to those who shouldn't have them. Torrill offered Dac the thing he had always wanted at a steep price. Dac, being young and unsure of the ways of the Galaxy, jumped at the chance. After years of being a slave to Torrill's ships, Dac had had enough. He jumped ship in Coruscant and made his way out to the Outer Rim, hoping that Torrill's reach did not extend that far.
Motivation
Ambition - Freedom
Growing up on the planet of Balmorra, Dac had always wanted off. Once the opportunity came up, he jumped; however, that led to the debt to Torrill Cath. All he wants to do is whatever he wants, whenever he wants, wherever he wants. Once he can get out from under the thumb of Torrill, he intends to spend his time living his best life.
Obligations
Debt - 30 points
In order to get off Balmorra, Dac got in deep with Torrill Cath, an arms dealer/smuggler, although deep may be an understatement. In exchange for passage off the planet, Dac agreed to work for Torrill Cath on his ships, running "goods" throughout the Galaxy, for simply room and board. Dac was, in essence, an indentured servitude. Unsurprisingly, Dac got tired of this. After a particularly rough run to Coruscant, Dac jumped ship to the Outer Rim hoping to outrun Torrill.
