Background
Thilrai Kol the Kaleesh Force Sensitive Mandalorian
Thilrai was a warrior on his homeplanet of Kalee, he was trained by his father from very young on how to fight properly with most weapons and his mother taught him how to survive in the wild. Thilrai was a rising prominent fighter in his clan, but he felt stuck as if he's reached a plateau in the only thing that has ever mattered to him. Not only that but he had a raging rivalry with his brother and sister who in turn had rivalries with themselves. All of them were raised together and constantly end up in duels that almost always end up in ties.
Once Kalee got founded by the known galaxy, they began to get political ‘visitors’ to learn more about them, how they live, their customs, etc. They got several visitors mainly from the old republic & the Jedi, the Mandalorian, and other independent planets.. Etamesh Kol, the siblings’ father and the leader of their clan, got offers from two major factions and the Echani surprisingly.
The father gathered his children and talked to them about the offers, each child decided on who they wanted to go with. Thilrai being the oldest but not the strongest decided to go with the Mandalorians who he thought he could learn the most from, Lalduna, the sister, decided to go to the Echani as the only female and they fit her fighting style of mobility and agility in her style, and finally Grynes decided to go with the republic and the jedi to learn their military tactics, styles, and perhaps the chance to learn the force.
Thilrai flourished with the mandalorians, who he learns are the Fett clan of said culture, they taught him how to use blasters which were nonexistent on Kalee, they taught him their melee and brawl fighting styles, they taught him how to be a proper merc, how to get jobs, they taught him their tongue, and their way of life and history. Sadly all of this would come to an end when at a critical point of a mission where they were surrounded by enemies and it looked drastic. In a moment of emotion where Thilrai felt like it was over he yelled a loud warcry and burst of force shot out towards the enemies pushing them to the floor unconscious where the Mandalorians could now easily kill them. His mandalorian brothers all looked at Thilrai with different faces, but one thing in common between all of them was disgust. The walk out was silent and awkward and the ride to the one that gave the job was tense between all of them.
All Thilrai could think about was how much he hated what he did but the conflict that it was necessary also runs to his mind, he plays the moment continuously in his mind in fear of the future and what he should do. During the ride you could feel the tense feeling in the ship, when they ate, slept, entertained themselves. It was awkward especially for Thilrai who was the target of essentially being alienated from everyone. When they finally reached back to their fixer and got paid he made the decision to talk to Ron Fett, the leader of his group, that he will be leaving them for obvious reasons. He mentions that he wishes one day to work together again and he'd be happy to work with them if they ever needed him. He mentioned he doesn’t know if he’ll suppress this new power or use it, but he’ll decide with time. Ron mentions that he shouldn’t suppress it, and if he gets the chance to learn how to use it he should, he should use everything in his possession to his advantage in fights and not using it would be a waste. Ron tells Thilrai that hes learned everything he can from the mandalorians so him going on his own to gain experience on his own would be more beneficial anyways.
Sadness and fear of the future was written all over Thilrai face as he said goodbye to Ron and the others with them. They left and Thilrai was left all alone to his own devices to find a crew and figure out what the future holds for him and this new chapter of his life.
