A male Duros, Shen Tallosar was born thirty-six years ago to Crailan and Mevra Tallosar. Shen’s parents were life support technicians who spent most of their lives maintaining oxygen and water facilities aboard the space cities orbiting Duro. Over four decades ago, the Tallosars were hired by the Salliche Agricultural Corporation to help with the development of an algae farming facility on Altyr Vb. The Altyr Aquacultural Facility was profitable for the first few years of existence, and the Tallosars lived a relatively prosperous life during this period. Shen was born a few years into their residence on Altyr Vb, and had an easy early childhood. Unfortunately, market changes and an uptick in pirate raids in the region led to the failure and shuttering of the algae farm, leaving the Tallosars stranded on the moon. While both Crailan and Mevra spent most of the rest of their lives working as technicians, they never made enough credits to leave the barren moon. Mevra eventually died of poor-health and overwork, and Crailan lives the retired life alone in a small cabin outside Ishpala Township.

Unlike his parents, Shen had no particular talent for mechanics, but he was talented with both animals and medicine, and eventually became a large animal veterinarian. For years, Shen's primary patients were Nerfs, Roba and uxibeasts. Although Shen sympathized with the ideals of the Separatist movement (having witnessed first-hand how hard life is on worlds that have been dismissed by the corrupt and complacent Republic), but he had no intention of actually doing anything about as he was completely content with his simple life. The Altyr Expeditionary Army had other ideas, and drafted Shen into its ranks for his medical skills. Shen is a far better medic than soldier, but he’s learning as fast as he can.

Shen is a lanky Duros male (Height: 1.91 m) with green-blue skin and red eyes. He has several small bite scars on his hands and upper arms.
