Background

Born on Toong'L, Yim Dobros was found by a Jedi seeker as a child and brought to the Temple on Coruscant. During his education as a youngling, he preferred studying history and legends over socializing with his creche-mates and sparring with lightsabers.

His preference for meditation and study of the Force continued in his apprenticeship to Lasat Jedi Master Poreht La, during which he discovered an ability to glimpse the future. Sensing potential in him, Master La made sure Yim balanced all his studies with lightsaber drills, piloting exercises, and other challenges of the spirit and body.

Having recently passed his trials, which included liberating a Jedi holocron from smugglers near Vrogas Vas, Jedi Knight Yim Dobros has been dispatched to Outset Station to assist citizens of the Republic in the Outer Rim.

Motivation

THE COSMIC FORCE: Yim feels a connection to the galaxy few others in the Order seem to appreciate. His visions of the future and past have driven him to pursue arcane knowledge on the workings of the cosmos.

JUSTICE: Yim is a Jedi Knight, committed to helping those in need. On Outset Station, he plans to continue his studies while being ready to assist the Republic and its members.

Description

Yim Dobros is 1.7 meters tall, has pallid green skin with darker mottling, deep brown eyes, and a white Jedi tunic. Three antennae emerge from his headwraps. He is 25 years old.

He sounds like Niles from Frasier, but is generally less silly and doesn't have a stick up his ass. Sort of a Transatlantic / prep school accent. Precise, considered diction with clean, clipped pronunciation.
