Control: Web of Life Spend [O] to share the the senses of local flora and fauna within range, adding <B> as necessary to Perception and Vigilance checks and/or gaining other insight based on the awareness of local creatures.

Background

Kemna has spent all her life on the harsh planet Socorro, working with her family as meager traders trying to eke out an existence among the outlaws and rogues that come to the black sands looking to hide from the authority of the various factions and undertake shady dealings at the expense of others.

Her older brother had been killed in an “accident” at a cantina when making a delivery of goods, getting mistaken for someone and slain in a barfight. Since then, the family had fallen on very hard times, working a job that barely supported them with three sets of hands instead of four.

Despite the stress and heat of life on Socorro, Kemna maintains a positive outlook, and has even befriended a small desert cactus, whom she has named "Auna," who's gentle presence has been a balm to her amidst the dangers of life in the desert.

The nature of the conflicts that rage far away amongst the stars, the ideals of the Systems Alliance, the Imperium, and the Jedi and their Confederacy are entirely lost on Kemna, but the DIVINE may be about to upend her relative peace...

Motivation

Motivations:

Ambition (Family)
Kemna loves her parents. Her mother and father (whom she still calls by the youthful endearment Aemya and Aemat) are, in her opinion, the best parents someone could have. But even when Sashto was still around, she felt distanced and disconnected from the people around her. Her mind is programmed to communicate on a deeper, more intimate level than those of anyone else she's met, and this has bred in her a bone-deep loneliness and sense of isolation. She yearns to find more people to add to her family, people who can "speak" the way she can.

Faith (The DIVINE)
The all-encompassing and ever-present...something that Kemna feels and moves through is a force for good. It guides and helps, and cares for all the living things in the galaxy, no matter how small. Kemna has unwavering faith in the DIVINE, that it is something that she can and should listen to and trust.

Morality

Morality: Compassion
Kemna feels deeply connected to each and every living thing she encounters, and so is naturally predisposed towards being kind and compassionate. She feels the pains of others as her own, and so tries her hardest to alleviate those pains.

Passion: Cruelty
People are mean. They are mean, heartless, and cruel to each other. They don't Listen, they don't hear the cries of pain and loneliness that reach out from the hearts of others, seeking to touch and be touched. How can they be that way? How can they just NOT CARE? Maybe someone should show them. Show them how to care, show them the HURT they've caused...

Description

Kemna is tall for a female Togruta, and slightly more muscular than average, due to the physical nature of her job. Her lekku are just beginning to grow out past her shoulders, and they are ringed with rare violet stripes.

"Group" Resource: Mentor/Holocron (Auna): Auna, the tiny Socorran cactus, acts as both a mentor to Kemna, teaching her how to further increase her incredible abilities of empathy and understanding, as well as a acting as a Holocron, providing the Astrogation and Knowledge (Xenology) skills as career skills.
