Background

Trass Aru was cast out of his clan on Dorin in his youth after one too many disagreements (fights) with the clan leadership. He removed his old clan markings from his Breath Mask in favor of a less decorative more practical design. He was off planet as soon as he could afford it. He made decent credits in the Mid and Outer Rims tracking down escapees and bounties. Soon his skill and reputation got him a job gathering intel for the Trade Federation. The job went over without a hitch, until it came time for him to be paid. They ratted him out, stiffed him, and left him stranded. He evaded capture for months before escaping Coreward on a stolen vessel. The once staunch partisan easily sided with the Republic at the outset of the Clone War.

Motivation

The CIS screwed him over and he's going to use his skills to aid the GAR to win this war and Destroy them.
