Description

Encumberance of all Gear reduced by 1 (minimum 0)

May apply attachments to self, using normal rules of modding (Mechanics.)

May not wear armor, or wearable accessories like backpacks, belts.

Exception: Modular Backpack Frame used as conceptual stand-in for chassis mods (Gadgets and Gear p138)

Can store weapons of Encumberance 3 or less. To actualy use these weapons, needs mods for at least 1 arm to use Ranged (Light) and 2 for Ranged (Heavy.) Some mods serve as weapons that can be considered to be attached (can't be dropped) and can be hidden/revealed at will.

Can roll around, needs Jetpack or Climbing gear to climb stairs.

All gear that is logical for an astromech droid to use can be used (GM discretion). May not exceed incumberance threshold.

May use cybernetic enhancements only if they are not intended for organics (e.g. no limb replacements.)

Vulnerable to Restraining Bolts, slicing, and ion energy weapons, and things that disable/destroy gear. Some gear mitigates this.

Droid merchants may have some of these items, but usually not the entire complement (GM discretion.) Items that are (R) cannot normally be purchased from vendors.

Only speaks binary without a mod.

Can remove and store modifications during Modding by spending 2 Advantage. Still counts as Encumberance, so maybe better to store unused mods on ship.
