Background
Motivation
Ambition (Power): Like all Dowutin, Breeagh always seeks to become stronger. This not only encompasses his physical growth but creating devices of increasing complexity and/or destructive power. Longer term he would seek to establish a power base so he will not be burned again as the Republic likely gives way to yet another power.
Quest (Purpose): One day he'll be strong enough. One day he'll have the allies and the technology and the credits he needs to...what exactly? For now these are sufficient objectives unto themselves, there is always the subconscious desire for a cause, a greater focus. For twenty years it was the Empire, for forty years before it was surviving the rigors of his homeworld. Now there is the search for a grand design that this all might be for...all he knows is that he is not ready, and that when it comes, he must be great.
Obligations
Unfinished Business (10) - Shortly after the Battle of Endor, some Imperials saw the writing on the wall and attempted to turn traitor, selling out to the Rebels in exchange for safety and favoritism under the new Regime. Dugan Shem was one such individual, trading the base under his command and the location of Breeagh and his current squads location in exchange for "political consideration". Dugan is now comfortably retired to the civil service (GM discretion), But Breeagh is neither willing to forgive nor forget the deaths of his comrades or Dugan's cowardice. The subject is one of the few things that will provoke genuine rage in the Dowutin, and it is likely even current concerns may be impacted by the chance to get closer to his revenge.
Bad Reputation (10) - Breeagh was one of the few aliens who did a rather brisk business for the Empire. To his logic, the society most able to assert its authority was the correct one, and until the Rebels could prove they were capable of overthrowing the Empire the ethical (and profitable) choice lay with working with the ISB. While few are willing to collect the aging bounties on the Dowutin, there are plenty willing to take shots at him if they think they can get away with it...and there is always the underlying tension being a part of the previous regime creates with those who think they can get a leg up on the Dowutin by threatening him regarding previous connections or attempt to shortchange him for services rendered.
