Developed as one of the initial ten prototype Holowan Magnaguards for the Separatist army, IG-L00 was programmed and trained on Geonosis under the supervision of General Kalani, a super tactical droid of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. As a specialist in close-quarters combat, he was pitted against B1 and newly developed B2 battle droids to enhance his own combat algorithms and sub-routines. Upon being struck down, he was repaired and put back into service, repeatedly, learning with each loss. With weaponry developments from the Techno Union, ranged combat modules were installed and he trained against the fearsome Droidekas and DSD1 dwarf spider droids. As his prowess developed, he was assigned to train with General Grievous as part of a personal bodyguard force with other Magnaguard prototypes. Struck down time and time again, he was repaired and sent back to fight his relentless master.
One fateful day of training proved to be IG-L00's undoing. In the midst of sparring, he landed a blow to the chest of the General, infuriating him. He was nearly chopped in half and ordered to be dismantled and left for scrap. Not wanting to waste his investment, General Kalani had him secretly refurbished and sent ostensibly to serve King Ramsis Dendup of Onderon, though secretly to be a mole for future Separatist in-roads.
His reprogramming however, had left him blunted, finely tuned combat skills locked away in circuitry that he could no-longer access, his intelligence and awesome presence barely rivaling a GNK power droid. In his servitude he had glimpses, dream-like visions of the masterful combat skills he once had, now inaccessible. IG-L00's frustration and bitterness grew. He vowed to take revenge on General Grievous, General Kalani and the entire Separatist leadership. With the help of a young human mechanic, his restraining bolt was removed. Wasting no time, he snuck aboard a transport freighter to a mid-rim system. He vowed he would find a way to become the warrior he once was, to unlock his buried secrets and lost skills. He vowed to take his revenge.

2 meters tall. Relatively skeletal humanoid build that is flushed out with a traditional but ornamental cape. Welded pieces of mismatched plating on upper limbs and torso (padded armor). Red eyes that can dim with expressions or for stealth, retractable visor. Blue steel frame with numerous blaster scoring and scratches. Clawed pincer feet that can provide additional grip on the ground. Polyarticulated joints that make the humanoid-appearing limbs mobile in inhuman ways. Left shoulder mount for light ranged weapon-blaster pistol.
