Born 22 BBY, Ponto Bendix was the son of Melvo Bendix (father) and Tota Bendix (mother). He was a working class kid on Ojom, who saw his family struggle financially for years. He had little time for play; for when he wasn't at school, he was helping his parents with duties at home, or making money on the side by participating in street races and ilicit acitvies.

Everything changed in 1 ABY when Max Bordon, a rebel x-wing pilot crash landed near Ponto's home. Max and his family, never thinking of themselves but always of others, nursed the rebel back to health. Ponto was facinated with the stories of daring escapes and exciting dockfights, and elected to join Max on his journey back to the rebel fleet.

The Rebellion won, yet Ponto never came home. The thrill of battle had taken over and he kept pursuing it. Who knows if he will ever feel truly fulfilled? Now he serves in the New Republic Defense Fleet and has been assigned to a mission that might not be to his liking.

Thrill: He loves the thrill of danger and chases adrenalin highs! He loves combat, he loves getting into tight spots, he's also a bit of a flirt (especially if he can flirt with someone who's WAY OUT OF HIS LEAGUE).
Republic: Though he had little vested interest in galactic politics, joining on the Rebellion did give him a sense of belonging and purpose. Now he strives to serve the New Republic.

OBLIGATION

Obligation 15:
Family - Ponto left his family on Ojom behind to go fight alongside the rebellion. Now that the New Republic is gaining power, he feels increasing pull to come back home and help his family, who are struggling with poor finances and a sadistic landlord.

DUTY 10:
Counter Intelligence: He's been assigned to a secret mission to Pillio,
against his own wishes, as he'd much rather engage in naval and combat activities. Yet here he is, stuck on a mission of stealth and discovery. Bah!
