Background

Corr Harik was is a former clone trooper who fought in the Clone Wars. Given the designation CT-123-456-7890, often shortened to CT-7890, he quickly earned the nickname Numbers in his squad. He was assigned as a combat field medic and saw a fair amount of action in the war. He also executed Order 66, killing the twilek Jedi Master Om'tina and her chiss padawan Chira're'barku, who fell off a cliff in the battle.

After the war, Numbers was rescued and had his inhibitor chip removed by Captain Rex as part of the Clone Underground, which he joined and fought with Captain Rex against the newly formed Empire. When the base on Teth was destroyed, Numbers and two other wounded clones, Drift and Stank, managed to escape the base in a transport shuttle, but were pursued and their shuttle was damaged. Their flight through hyperspace was interrupted by the damage and they ended up perilously close Tatooine. Numbers, who was caught away from the cockpit tending to Drift and Stank, was unable to keep the ship from crashing on Tatooine. Although he was able to keep the ship mostly intact, Drift and Stank did not survive the crash.

After failing to re-establish communication with the Clone Underground, Numbers decided to go into hiding. Unfortunately, a lack of capital kept him from being able to leave the planet, and he eventually managed to trade enough salvage from the wreck, which was thankfully "close" to Anchorhead, to gain the gear he needed to establish a moisture farm homestead, where he stayed for many years.

Three years ago, now a grizzled older man going by the name Corr Harik, discovered a middle-aged Askajian woman stumbling through the desert close to his homestead. After taking her in and nursing her back to health, he discovered her name was Magu Finn, and that she was an escaped slave dancer who had been owned by Teemo the Hutt. She had dropped off Teemo's sail barge as it was cruising the desert, hidden in the sand, and started walking when she thought the coast was clear. She had wandered the desert for weeks with no food or water, and her epidermal water sacks were empty. Although Corr tried to help her escape the planet, there was no money to purchase transport. Eventually Magu decided to stay with Corr, and they were married.

Three weeks ago, Magu disappeared while Corr was out working on a vaporator. Upset at the loss of his wife, Corr tracked her back to Teemo the Hutt and even managed to infiltrate the palace for a short while, before things went south and he was forced to flee with several others to Mos Shuuta. While he was there, he discovered that Magu had been sold and shipped off-planet, and although he was able to determine the name of the slave trader who took her to her new master -- a Duros bounty hunter named Jenssi Stazi, he was unable to find out where she was taken.

Corr needs a method of transportation, an information broker, and the resources to find and rescue his wife.

Motivation

Freedom. As a clone and former clone trooper, Corr is, technically, a wanted criminal. Keeping his freedom means a lot to him.

Love. Corr loves his wife and wants to see her returned to him.

Obligations

Family, 15. After infiltrating Teemo's palace, Corr discovered that Magu had been sold and shipped offworld, but he was unable to determine where. Corr needs a method of travel, an information broker, and the resources to find his wife.
