Betrayal and greed are not only common themes on Ban’s home planet of Coruscant but also common themes for Ban’s life. Ban grew up humbly in the underworld of Coruscant, learning, watching, and biding his time until he could satiate his greed. Eventually, Ban finally had a plan, a crew, and a whole lot of product to smuggle. What was supposed to be a low-risk - big reward deal turned quickly sour when they were ratted by one of their own. Not knowing who the rat was, the crew quickly turned on Ban. Now they want what they were promised and have no intention of stopping trying to get it. Ever since then Ban has been doing odd jobs in the outer rim for a roof over his head and food in his stomach, Eventually ending up on the space station ‘The wheel’ in hopes he can find the next big job to fill his pockets to the brim with credits.
Ban picked up his skills for piloting both in his days of interplanetary smuggling and outcast days of running from the local law enforcement in X-34 landspeeder while running odd jobs.
