Tussk left the Hive Mother to explore the galaxy for the benefit of the Hive.
It found the galaxy unforgiving and cruel, and was soon in servitude to the Hutt cartels due to a series of misdemeanors and misunderstandings.
Tussk was put into servitude and work and found it can get places others are not able, much to the delight of its 'owner'.
Soon it was being contracted to deliver violent and decisive messages to those that wanted to hide, earning its freedom, but finding comfort in the work.
With its Cryoban rifle and blade, Tussk takes trophies of those on the wrong side of its contract. Hope you are not one of those.
