Background
Durzum set out early in his life. He left the mists of his homeworld to make a name for himself in the stars. During the waning months of the clone wars he was hired to to capture or kill a gang of swoop bikers. He tracked them to Ando Prime, deep in the mountains.
While hunting them through the labyrinthine mountain paths, he was caught in an ambush discovering the alleged swoop gang was working with space pirates. The pirates understanding the gands have an uncanny ability to track their quarries they began to torture the gand in order to force him to use his abilities to avoid Republic forces while they loot weakened planets after battles. He tried resisting the torture, but his meager findsmen training proved to be not very effective.
The path of destruction laid out by the pirates was uncovered by the Iktotchi Jedi Master Shara Dreeri. She led a strike force against the pirate flagship bringing them down and rescued the Gand. The jedi master found the Gand's abilities very curious. The two of them finished tracking down the rest of the swoop bike gang members. She let the gand turn in all bounties without taking a share. The gand refused to take credit for the work she did and feels that he owes her a debt. The two eventually parted ways after working together some. The iktochi jedi master gave the gand a communicator, so she can reach out to him after war to learn more about the gand culture.
The gand has not reached the notoriety to use his name or speak in the first person, so he continued to bounty hunt. He had a new perspective on the galaxy around him. The gand fights for the underdog, disliking bullies and totalitarianism. He'll put the interests of those in need before his own and may donate time or money to aid the less fortunate.
At the end of the clone wars he received a distress call from The jedi master who rescued him. It was in a strange code he couldn't decrypt. He felt a connection to the Jedi Master. He feels she is still alive and has an obligation to repay the debt he feels that he owes her. While in deep meditation he can sometimes see her fleeing imperial troops or feel her emotions. He hopes to find her wherever they might be and aid them in whatever way possible. He doesn't believe the imperial propaganda and sympathizes with some of the rumors of rebel activity.
He seeks to one day gain enough fame to be brought back to Gand to go through the Janwuine-jika. The ceremony that will grant him the ability to speak in the first person and become a true Findsman.
