From the home plant of the Chadra-Fan, Chad, in the outer-rim region known as the slice, Tek’lep’plep Kip’Tibler lived a typical life for a Chadra-Fan. Tek’lep’plep spent a majority of his time with and in the service of his clan, siring 16 children shortly after being marred, as is typical in Chandra-Fan culture and tradition. Tek’lep’plep made a name for himself on Chad for developing increasingly complex drain and sump systems. His small body allowed him to get in there and tinker with mechanisms easily. Known colloquially as The Pump, Tek’lep’plep took pride in knowing he was helping Chadra-Fan clans deal with the increasing intensity of hurricanes caused by methane released from Chad’s dairy farming industry. Tek’lep’plep continued on this path, teaching several apprentices his trade and received several distinctions for his inventions and contributions to fluid control and management. However, soon after reaching the ripe old age of 34, Tek’lep’plep was rushed to the medical tree hut with chest pain. One of his two hearts came close to failing. Surrounded by most of his offspring and clan on his hospital bed, he looked around and felt unsatisfied. This was his wake up call. He had spent so much of his life creating tools in the service of others. He never nutured his own desires to give in to violence and blowing things up. Using his skills and knowledge accumulated over the years developing Sump Pumps, Tek’lep’plep starting to tinker with long range blasters, to create his Magnum Opus. Knowing he only had a few years left in life, he said he goodbyes and left Chad to venture across the Galaxy to test his new devices.

Dutybound - Tek joined the Pipefitters union Chapter 405 because of his friends and people he grew up with were part of the Union. The union helped protect the families in his neighborhood. They had to do some things that were the lesser of two evils to build and protect chad. Tek rose up through the ranks by doing what was needed to get things done. Tek worked frequently together with his two Chadra-Fan friends Blip'typi'Nipi Tip'Kipler and Tykle'dip'nib Tip'Kipler. Well-meaning Blip often blundered his way into bad situations and Tykle was more of the leader and strategist.

Recently the local union has been put under leadership of the sector chapter because there weren't enough paying members ( they are getting old and dying). Pudgeton, the sector lead, wants Tek and his friends to prove their loyalty by taking care of one of his problems.

Normal sized Chadra-Fan, short by human standards. Hair is light brown that is thoroughly greyed around the mouth, eyes, and ears.

Tek’lep’plep is the type of guy to walk over to you, squat down while letting out a heavy sigh, and say "Let's see what we got here." when he notices someone fiddling with something.

Tek’lep’plep is known to talk to himself while carrying out a task or trying to remember something. He's been known to ask someone to hold something, only to wander off and forget what he was doing. Despite his age and loss of hearing from being around heavy machinery all his life, Tek’lep’plep has retained good dexterity of his hands and has a sharp memory when it comes to sump knowledge.
