Background
Born on Ord Mantell to middle class parents, Torin spent his earliest days running through the scrap yards and playing with other children. He received some basic schooling but didn't advance far in his studies, instead working at his uncle Kel's shop for some time, learning how to be a mechanic. Being gifted, he soon decided to go ply his trade in space, at the young age of around 17. The next 3 years were spent flying around on different cargo ships. He gained a reputation of being a good mechanic and worth his pay. During a routine inspection, a group of imperial soldiers came aboard and impressed him into serving on their ship, as their mechanic had recently been killed in an encounter with pirates. Torin was initially disgusted at the fact that he'd make very little, but he impressed his imperial commander and started making more than he had previously. He transferred ships a few times, working in a variety of jobs including ferrying important people around and being involved in small anti-pirate activities, and has been serving on his current ship for a few months.

Description
Human male, slim, his clean shaven face make him still look like a teenager, even though he is almost 25. He likes to listen to people talk, and enjoys watching the sunset with his sapphire blue eyes. He wears his uniform almost all the time, having lost his last set of regular clothes to an explosion following a malfunction. He also styles his black hair up, but it's often messed up by the helmet he wears to work and the cap he wears underneath it. He removes his helmet unless he's actively working on a project (if it could involve danger to his hair), needs to look intimidating, or when he feels combat is about to happen.
