Background

Fear. It was always fear with Talon. As a youngling, even as a Padawan on Dantooine, Talon Kil'gryv struggled with fear. His Master, Akara Akro was tasked with hunting down powerful Sith and Darkside artifacts. Talon would accompany her on her expeditions, Akara using these opportunities to teach her Padawan to confront his fears, to gain mastery over it and not let the darkness overtake him.

One such expedition was to a Sith tomb on Korriban. Master Akro learned of a powerful relic there, and took Talon to retrieve it. After evading the local Sith Academy, they made their way to the tomb, overcoming obstacles and traps within. At one point, Talon and Akara became separated.

The Dark side was strong in the Sith Tomb, the Spirit of the Sith manifesting, praying on Talon's fears. Hississ stalked him, he was alone, scared, Talon was almost lost....but then he tasted the Dark Side, embracing the fear. He doesn't remember what happened, only that the terror drove him into a frenzy, and he blacked out. When he came to, the Hississ were all dead, Lightsaber burns all over them. He felt his fear melt away, and a darkness taking its place. In that Tomb, Talon found a Sith datacron, a collection of Sith knowledge that he kept, hid.

Over the years, Talon grew stronger in the Force, secretly learning of the Dark side. He became fascinated, obsessed with how the Force could be used to affect the mind, to infect it with fear. He eventually left the Jedi Order, wishing to test the limits of his abilities outside of the scrutiny of the Masters. Talon joined the Jedi Reven in the Mandalorian Wars, eventually becoming one of his Sith Acolytes, fighting against the Jedi he once called brothers. But he didn't care, Talon was different now. Something changed within him, something cracked. He spend so long gripped by fear, then because obsessed with spreading it. Some would call him crazed, even his fellow acolytes. But he didn't care, he had fear, and he would wield it, laughing.

Motivation

Ambition: Power
After following Reven, Talon feels unfettered by the Jedi and their teachings, their restrictions. He can now fully exhort his will on others, test the limits of his power and find new ways to use the Force to affect the mind. Along with his skills with a Lightsaber, knowledge of poisons and devotion to the Sith, he strives to find his place in the Sith Empire, all along wielding his most potent weapon: Fear.

Morality

Strength: Pride
Talon has grown strong in the Force, and has learned to wield fear as an effective weapon. He is proud of his strength, and seeks opportunities to prove it as one of Darth Reven's followers

Weakness: Arrogance
Though strong willed, Talon tends to overestimate his abilities. Capable though he is, he often takes on more then he can handle, refusing to believe he would be unable to surmount an obstacle.

Talon is a Caamasi, covered in dark brown fur with streaks of purple. He has a beak-like snout, thin 3-fingered hands and sharp teeth.

He stands 6 feet tall, thin, dark blue eyes tinted with a ring if yellow. His dark cloak covers a gruesome looking armor made up of the scales of slain Hississ.
Around his neck on a chain is a pendant fashioned like the head of a ghastly beast, eyes of glowing red gemstones.

The pumbel of the hilt of his Lightsaber ends in a point, resembling the fang of a beast. The blade ignites Blood Orange
