Fawen was raised on a remote planet by her older brothers. She led a fairly sheltered life and spent most of her time doing the "women's work" for the family. One day while out doing her chores she saw one of her friends being harassed by bullies. She stepped in to protect her friend and during the altercation found she had a natural fighting ability. However, the attacker gained the upper hand and when it looked like she was going to lose she was able to send her opponent flying away with powers she didn't understand. Later that night she confided in her most trusted brother what had happened. While he was taken aback by her ability to seemingly push her opponent with her will alone, he was impressed with her selfless act and decided to help foster her fighting abilities. He took her to enroll in a fighting academy. While training, Fawen gained the attention of one of the veteran fighters. He took her under his guidance. Not only did he help develop her skills, but he also became like a father to her.

Over the years her fighting skills grew and she was able to best some of the greatest fighters on her planet. It was as if something was guiding her and almost helped her predict her opponents moves. Her mentor recognized her uncanny skills and took her aside one day. He told her tales of a time before when Jedi existed and of the amazing things they were capable of. Fawen was intrigued by what she had learned. She recalled the incident when she was a child and wondered if she may actually be one of these individuals. Eventually her curiosity grew and she decided she needed to leave her home to find out more...

Help the helpless

Compassion: Fawen was the youngest of all the children in her family, and the only girl. She was often picked on by her older brothers and essentially forced to be a servant in her own household. This left her feeling scarred and betrayed by the people she loved. Due to this, she feels a connection with anyone or anything she feels is being mistreated and has made it her duty to help those who cannot help themselves.

Obsession: Fawen can often be blinded by her need to help others. She will usually intervene on the behalf of those she perceives to be in trouble before taking the time to fully asses the situation. This has created many misunderstandings from those not actually in need of assistance. It has also led her into extremely dangerous situations where she failed take into consideration the skill of her opponents or even the number of individuals involved.
