Nimrev comes from a modest background. He has 14 brothers and 11 sisters, all whom live in the family home on Chad. His parents were scavengers and junk collectors. Their entire lives were spent on expeditions to nearby planets, collecting junk to be brought back to the family to be cleaned, repurposed, and resold.

While all of his brothers and sisters remain on Chad to carry on the family business after Nimrev's parents passed, Nimrev had his sights on exploring the galaxy at large. His attention turned quickly from working on junk and knick-knacks to creating mechanical abominations, eventually creating small toys for his younger siblings that resemble a primitive droid.

An odd opportunity arose when a Skakoan droid designer who was visiting Chad found one of these toys and hired Nimrev to work in one of his factories on a remote Outer Rim planet. His family hated him for wanting to leave and he ended up departing under near violent tensions. He swore never to return.

Things were great for a while, but it turns out working for an former Separatist lunatic never ends well. The Skakoan, realizing the war had been over for some time, shut down the factory and ended his life, leaving next to nothing for his dozen "employees" who had never been paid.

Nimrev repurposed one of the droids as his personal companion, BF-4L (Best Friend 4 Life). They traveled to many systems, searching for new opportunities and odd jobs fixing droids, ships, etc. But eventually they ran into the wrong kind of crowd.

In an attempt to start a grounded business, he borrowed a large sum of credits from some regional thugs. When the business went under, the thugs responded to his inability to recoup their loses by dismantling and crushing BF-4L.

Lost and alone, Nimrev took to wandering again. Until he saw her. Until he saw the most uniquely designed and programmed droid he's ever encountered... Casey...

Freedom/Love: He seeks the freedom to pursue his dreams. And since those dreams are currently in shambles, his attention has been refocused on the beauty and power of Casey's mechanical design.

Obsession: Unhealthy infatuation with Casey (from a design perspective)

Small (even for a Chadra-Fan) and usually quiet, Nimrev can usually be seen scurrying around the feet of busy thoroughfares scavenging for parts or food. He wears a simple drab jacket that has several loops that hold his various tiny tools. His dirty dark brown pants are held up by a makeshift belt that also serves to hold little odds and ends that he finds may be useful in a future project. As a Chadra-Fan, his eyes are large, but he seems to have a permanent squint from working on small parts. His small batlike snout is usually covered with partially dried mucus that he habitually wipes on his left sleeve...
