Background

When Deimer was relatively young, his clans' Duchess, or matriarch, moved them out to a small planet in the outer rims to tend to a farming plantation colony. Deimer had something to prove, that despite being out in no where, despite his clan being farmers, despite being a Drall; that he would make something of himself as an engineer, rather than being a scientist or a farmer like his clan. Deimer would constantly whole himself away tinkering or disassembling anything and everything that he could get his hands on. As he grew up, Deimer, found his clan wasn't so much hirer to tend to this farms as so much they were sold into indentured servitude. His clan worked and toiled for the Empire like many an alien has, with grueling standards and unfair treatment. This wouldn't be the worst of it, because unknowingly while trying to make some extra money they sought other buyers for what little extra produce they had, and inadvertently they sold to enemies of the Empire. They came to announce that Deimer's Clan were all treasonous against the Empire, and violated their contracts, leading to the immediate termination of the Clan. Deimer's favorite place to tinker and experiment would be his salvation, while the Empire exterminated the whole of his Clan, Deimer was holed away in a bunker he made out of a cave a short drive away. Deimer found that night attempting to sneak back into his families residential housing was... not even the younglings were spared.

Deimer was able to escape that planet, the only of his Clan left. He still strived to work with man and metal, finally finding his calling as a Cyber Technician melding the two ambitions of his life. He's worked odd jobs in droid shops, ship repairs, gangs, cartels, anything that kept him out of the eye of the Empire's watch and his hands in flesh and oil.
