Ciric was married off by his family to another Vurk, who he grew to love. They spent many years together where he learned medicine/medical with her until one day Ciric's wife grew ill with an unknown disease. Ciric did everything he possibly could to save her (including illegal methods) but to no avail. After his wife's death he dedicated himself to helping others whoever they are (Rich/poor/good/bad). In order for him to further his medical knowledge he decided to leave his home planet and go off into the galaxy to help those who are less fortunate.
