Background

He grew up the son of former Rebel Alliance fighters on a world that had been ravaged by the Empire. His parents had grown up on the world and had fought to free it, but it was one of the last planets to be released from the Empire's grip. Without the Empire's iron-fisted control of the planet, and with its infrastructure all but destroyed, it was not a nice place to live. He wanted nothing more than to leave, and once he was old enough, enlisted in the New Republic Survey Corps. He took on marksmanship as a hobby while in training, and later discovered that with his other skills, he was quite a good hunter. His first task was exploring the unknown regions, but while there, he developed an addiction for glitterstim, which results in his expulsion from the Survey Corp. He now works for an independent firm and continues to explore the Unknown Regions with nothing but his ship (an Ainik-Class Scientific Survey Vessel) and his crew.

Motivation

Ambition: Wanderlust
He never wants to stay in one place for more time than he has to. His job within the New Republic and now within a private firm aids him in this desire, but no matter where he is, he's always itching to leave.

Obligations

Addiction: Addicted to glitterstim spice. He started using it for the boost it gave his senses, but quickly became addicted and hasn't been able to give it up. He desperately wants to shake his addiction, but has found it impossible.
