Background
Jakyn is the son of a disgraced politician Brak Resben. Jakyn has travelled from Coruscant to the Outer Rim to rebuild his family's reputation and wealth following his father's arrest for conspiring to sell Imperial munitions to the Rebel Alliance. Although Jakyn served as the smuggler for the illegal arms trade, Brak willingly took the fall for his son when the Empire discovered the operation. Jakyn's imprisoned father is one of the few people in the galaxy that he is loyal to.
Motivation
Status: Like his father, Jakyn does not believe in the cause of either the Empire or the Rebels but merely seeks to increase his own standing and influence in the galaxy by whatever means necessary.
