Born a scion of a branch of the powerful Desilijic clan, the one now known as Kappa was never your stereotypical Hutt. Ever since a Huttlet, Kappa has been a sensitive soul. Oft bullied and seen as a soft target for the intrigues of his peers, Kappa recoiled from Hutt politics to embrace learning and the study of the rich cultures of the galaxy.

But there was no place for such a Hutt on Nal Hutta. Feared by the slave races for his background, and disdained by his fellow Hutts Kappa found himself trapped and alone - like a bird in a cage... Or so he thought until reading a line from a lesser known Corellian philosopher which resonated deeply with him. "He was a cage in search of a bird..." For even a step unworn by feet is unhappy. And Kappa was deeply unhappy for no reason other than there being no purpose for a Hutt like him on Nal Hutta.

And so the decision was made. Kappa would turn his back on the clan, taking up the least threatening name his burgeoning mind could muster... Keith. And Keith would leave Nal Hutta and Hutt space entirely to find some world where some noble purpose would be waiting for him. So begins his search... for happiness.

FREEDOM

Keith desires a life free from the intrigues and seediness of Hutt society. A life where he is free to dedicate himself to more noble pursuits such as learning, poetry and the betterment of society.

While born into Huttian privilege, Keith identifies strongly with the downtrodden and enslaved, and yearns for their freedom as much as his own.
