Born on the core world of Chandrilla, Bendar spent most of his childhood in a society that grew more and more resentful of the Empire each passing year, where he later joined the Alliance in his teenage years. There, he learned how to pilot spaceships, use and maintain a firearm, and some of the more common tactics the Rebellion pilots used. At the time of the battle of Yavin, he was stationed on the forest moon as one of the backup pilots who would provide support to the fighter squads attacking the DS-1 orbital battle station. After the battle was over, he was stationed on the far edges of the Rim, deep in Huttspace to help a local rebel cell procure the necessary funding for a project of theirs.

Support: Bendar's mission here in Huttspace is to help the local Rebel cell find funding in order to purchase a Nebulon B frigate from a mysteriously friendly group of pirates. +10 duty.
