Force Powers

Force Rating
1
Power
Foresee
Description
Force users often have precognitive flashes, experiencing waking dreams or visions about people and situations through their abilities. These powers are rarely so clear and obvious as to provide unequivocal visions of the future, but they are certainly enough to give Force users pause for thought when they have a "bad feeling about something".

The power of foresight has been used in countless different ways by countless different Force users throughout history. Some use it to gain vague images far into the future, while others use it to predict the movements of their foes or see an unexpected event soon to happen.
Upgrade Effect
Basic Power The force user can feel the Force flowing around everything, seeing what is and what will be.

The user may spend force points to gain vague hints of events to come up to a day in his own, personal future.
Power
Move
Description
Many Force users develop the ability to shift objects without physically handling them, moving matter with the power of the mind. Those with a modicum of training in the skill can cause small objects to slowly and painstakingly rise, fall, or travel in space. True masters of the Force are rumored to be able to hurl starships about or juggle heavy crates in the air. Other applications of the power allow for Force users to manipulate control panels or computer keyboards at a distance. There is thought to be no limit what a Force user could move with the application of enough concentration.

When moving items, the default speed is slow and deliberate, not fast enough to inflict injury or accurate enough to allow for fine manipulation.
Upgrade Effect
Strenght Spend a force point to increase silhouette able to be targeted equal to Strenght upgrades purchased.
Basic Power The Force user can move small objects via the power of the Force.

The user may spend a force point one object of silhouette 0 that is within short range up to his maximum range. The default maximum range is Short.

Background

A Guided Stream initiate of the Baran Do order, Sal Munda left Dorin after a vision that one day, the Galactic Empire would find their way into the halls of the Baran Do, looking for him. He travels the galaxy, honing his skills and making sure the Baran Do do not attract the attention of the Empire.

Motivation

Faith; Sal Munda closely follows the apathic ideals of the Baran Do, trusting in the force to show him the results of his actions.

Morality

Discipline/Caution: Life is too precious to be treated carelessly. Sal Munda always seeks to carefully deliberate his choices, weigh his options and analyse their consequences. He does not let himself be brash, abrasive and rash.

Hesitation: Too much caution leads to hesitation. Sal Munda has a hard time making choices without first analysing every. Single. Possibility. He is incapable of taking spur of the moment choices, always turning to the Force for answers -- to his own detriment.

Description

Around 1,60m tall, Amber coloured skin, his mask and goggles are made of a dark green metal. He dresses in Baran Do robes, under a boiled leather coat of plates -- which depicts parts of Dorin's flora. Over that, Munda wears a shaggy fur cloak.

Other Notes

As an initiate of the Baran Do tradition, Sal Munda gains the followin benefits:
- 5 exp cost to purchase the Foresee, Move and Protect/Unleash powers.
- Ignores the first two points of conflicts using the Unleash power each session.

And the following Drawback (15 XP):
- Before making major decisions, the Baran Do must meditate and reflect on their choice, sometimes for hours. Failure to do so, or engaging in rash behaviour in general, generates 1 Conflict (in addition to any Conflic generated by the performed action).

Intended character arc: the vision is an inevitability, but also a red herring. This vision is, as it stands, an invasion by Grand Admiral Thrawn into Dorin, way after the formal end of the Empire. Throughout the campaign, he may still incur the wrath of Impireal soldiers and desperately attempt to keep his origins a secret.

Sal Munda doesn't just trust in The Force, he overtly rellies on it, to the detriment of those around him. He is incapable of taking spur of the moment decisions, always seeking careful deliberation through medidation and communication with The Force, which can take hours, a time he sometimes does not have.
