Background

Born on her homeworld of Pantora, she never really got any time to be there. As you would guess, the Jedi found her at a young age, still an infant, and thus she was whisked away to become a Jedi. She spent most of her young years like most Jedi do, in the temple learning, meditating for hours on end and being warned of this and that. Though as she got older, she established an interest in the mischevious and in the art of fighting. She had a way about her to get what she wanted and she grew rapidly independent, much to her Master's dismay. She took to studying whatever she could of the Jedi's long lost foe, the sith. She became convinced they weren't really gone, and she wanted to prepare. Thus she took up the saber form of Makashi. All the warnings of darkness and sith could not come from an enemy truly dead, a mindset shared by her master. She also grew a growing disagreement with some aspects of the Jedi code, specifically relating to attachment, love, and taking action to be what she thought the Jedi wore, Guardians. She wasn't the type to sit back and think while people suffered, thus when the clone wars sparked she jumped at the chance to fight. She eventually obtained her knighthood, but soon after her master was killed at the hands of Dooku, this leads to now, a knight held in disagreement with the council, a legion of clones now her's and an uncertain future.

Motivation

To Help the Innocent: Throughout Miya's teachings of the Jedi, she grew a hatred toward the idea of doing nothing and not using her gifts to help others. mediating for hours upon hours is time wasted, especially during war. While she does think before acting, she is more prone to moving in and acting when people she cares for or the innocent are in harm's way. There is nothing stopping her from trying to save those who can't do it themselves.

To fight Darkness: Her studies into sith and darkness have made her weary yet curious. While she believes the force to be more than two sides of a coin, and is willing to use darker methods she knows the line not to cross. That line is the one that separates a good force user to a sith. She has a desire to root out any who would call themselves by that title and make sure they never get to use their power again.

Morality

Independence: Miya believes in relying on herself. She does not count on others to perform tasks for her, instead, she ensures she can handle any situation she encounters. She refuses to be a burden on others.

Coldness: Miya began to see the darker side of the galaxy and the force. People she was close to having died, as have people under her command. This can make her a bit cut off from other people, tendencies to isolate and resistance to offers of help on things she thinks she can do herself.
