Background
Derek Dra'gott has, for lack of better words, crawled his way up from the literal bottom. Having been born on the lower levels of Coruscant, he quickly learned that you either defended yourself with words and weapons or you were on the receiving end of those two things.
The man chose the first option instead of going down quickly. Typically this came with attempting to create contacts and friends among those he talked to, supporting himself off of his deals. Oftentimes things worked out; sometimes, that wasn't the case.

Fortune and Glory - Derek has his sights on the bright future - when he's rich and powerful, he's slowly building his circle of allies and followers in order to achieve his goal.

The Price of a Name (20)- Derek has, more than once, used the identity of others in his deals, to get better standings, a few still hold a grudge.
