Background
Times are hard when living as a Nomad. Especially in the frozen wasteland of Dowut. Between following prey through the vast emptiness day after day, decade after decade, century after century, and the isolation that comes with being a solitary nomad, Trogdarth had to be tough. He had to be in order to survive. But he also had to be smart. He had to adapt. The herds would adapt to the methods of the hunt. They would know the places of danger and avoid them. they would recognize the scent of the hunters. So in turn Trogdarth had to adapt his methods. Where as many Dowutins learned to "adapt by just being faster or stronger to outrun or over power the prey, Trogdarth thought it would be better to outthink them.
He studied their migratory patterns and their eating habits and body language. Studied and watched and it payed off. once he understood his prey on the level that he did, it was easy to get food when he needed it. That is until the empire came. He didn initially understand why they came, but he understood what it meant for him when they started mindlessly killing the herds that sustained him and, he assumed, others like him. So he studied them. And after singlehandedly ending the practice of sport hunting by the empire, he caught the notice of a group calling themselves "Rebellion". They claimed to have a need for this Empire to be gone, much like he did. He knew from his watching that until this threat was stopped at its source, that it would return.
So he set off with this group of small weak Hoomans and learned everything he could about the empire, which in turn helped these Rebels stop them more and more and get him closer and closer to getting his herds back in balance.
Motivation
Creeds:
Strive for Excellence: As a Dowutin, it is in his blood to be the strongest, smartest, toughest, best that he can be and outshine all others. failure is weakness and on Dowut, weakness is death.
Balance must be restored: On Dowut, the Empires blockade and Crackdown against his species has put the ecosystem out of balance, and he must restore it by ending the Empire. And if it restores balance on a larger scale, than, well he doesn't really care. As long as his herds get back in balance.
