Born to an impoverished family who survived by staying out of affairs, he often felt as though someone or something was “talking” to him, giving him guidance or occasionally helping things go his way. Eventually, his mother discovered these instances, and was quickly able to discern his true nature as a force-sensitive. His mother, as it happened, was a survivor of Order 66.

However, as she was a barely inducted youth when she was forced to flee, she had no formal or martial training to pass down to him, only the most basic teachings and philosophies of the force. When he was older the local crime syndicate, in an effort to pay off their debt to the Huts, sold many of the locals. His mother was among them, Twi’lek woman infamously sold as entertainers. He struggled against them until he was finally captured by the Hut and thrown into the rancor pit to entertain them. However, in a fit of rage and sorrow for he and his mother’s situation, he fully tapped into his latent connection to the force and rendered the rancor unconscious, before losing consciousness himself.

When he awoke the Hut, not ignorant to the significance of the events that unfolded, offered a great sum to the crime syndicate for him, who accepted. Originally planning to give him to the empire, his mother saved his life by pointing out that he could prove useful to the Hut for his latent abilities. The Hut was eventually swayed, although his mother was kept as leverage against him. He now leads a precarious existence, in which both his and his mother’s life are on the line should he prove to be a poor investment.

-Favor (A Hutt by the name Muraga had him as a slave and during that time found out he was force sensitive. Muraga agreed not to turn him into the empire in return for doing his bidding from time to time as his asset.)
