Background
Cultural: THE DOWN AND OUT
The character comes from humble or hardscrabble beginnings. Abandoned from a young age to survive in the depths of Coruscant’s underworld. This character starts out knowing that life is nasty, brutish, and short and probably has seen more than his share of horror. He has seen injustice done to the weak or vulnerable.
Characters from this type of background strive to better themselves and do their utmost to escape their plight. The character either trains incessantly.
Force: (Pragmatic Power) Some see their powers and talents as tools they can use to advance their lives or accomplish their goals. Such a character may constantly flirt with the dark side of the Force and never realize it. Learning or denying Force philosophies and histories invariably plays into the stories of characters from this background.
The Call: THE DUTY TO TRADITION
This character was taken from the underworld of Coruscant at a young age to be trained at the jedi temple. Not long before Order 66 he fled the temple, knowing this was his only option. Because of this he no longer considers himself a member of the order despite his training.
Motivation
Justice: In a galaxy full of wrongdoing, justice must be done. The character seeks to bring justice to those who deserve it, while helping victims of injustice to right the wrongs done to them.
Morality
Compassion: The character cares about the tribulations others face, and wants to help those he comes across. His compassion may lead to self-sacrifice in order to aid those who need it.
Hatred: The galaxy can be a cruel and heartless place, and compassion can quickly turn to hatred of the individuals or situations that cause others to suffer. When a character’s mind roils with simmering hatred, that hatred may be all too slow to fade.
