Background

CC-3007 (Or as his mean called him, Wits) was an old clone back in the clone wars. Throughout his training he was shown to be very capable on the battlefield and his battle strategy was one of the best among the clones. He lead the clone group 'Kilo Squad' who were a specialised unit of commando clones. The squad was trained by one of the 100 Cuy'val Dar, an elite group of mercenaries hand-selected by Jango Fett himself, being put through intensive training simulations, which meant that they were highly skilled and Wits, being the leader, showed his battle prowess and was highly valued. The squad was one of the first units to be trained with the Katarn-class MK I commando armour which was used in the Battle of Geonosis and the squad though highly of themselves and thought they could take on the world. But, when deployed into the First Battle of Geonosis, it was a massacre. Almost all of the commandos that were sent into battle were wiped out, but, before his squad died they helped him to scape the battle. Wits ran and ran, barely making it out of the battle alive. He was able to escape off of the planet and gained a strong case of PTSD. Every night he could hear the screams of his squad mates, his family, being murdered by the separatists. He thought he had failed and couldn't bring himself to deal with the pain, so he got himself into spice, trying to numb the pain he feels every day. He tried to escape his life, throwing away his blaster that he had kept with him for so long, throwing away his armour (all apart from his helmet), only keeping his blaster pistol and vibroknife that were given as a gift by his squad mates. Now he wishes to prove himself and finally join back in the fighting

Motivation

Redemption - After deserting in the clone wars he wants to join back into the fight in order to regain his honour and to help out the rebellion as he thinks it is his duty to save the galaxy
Honour - Fighting alongside the clones means that he has a specific code of honour and feels the empire are the same as the separatists and feels it is his personal obligation to fight them as he did with the separatists many years ago
No one - He lost all of his squad in the First Battle of Geonosis and after being the only one left he felt that joining the rebellion would be a way to avenge them.
