Background

Tidel grew up in a small village in the Uvena sector. He was part of a large family of scouts and foragers. They got what they needed from the land, and occasionally hired themselves out as scouts or trackers. One day the empire had use for their skills, but when the village elder refused, the Empire took what they needed and slaughtered the rest of the village.

Tidel was a young pup, and luckily his mother managed to hide him away before the slaughter started.

He was found, mangy, and near feral by a rebel cell infiltrating the planet several years later. They took him in, managed to earn his trust, and trained him. He became their most valued scout for several years. However, on an attempt to sabotage the empires fuel supplies on the Uvena Prime, the rest of his team was captured and killed. Tidel fled through the woods and hid. In is shocked state, he reverted to his feral state, and his mind was lost to him. For a long time he lived like this, hunting, eating and almost never sleeping. Until he chanced upon an Imperial patrol. Like a lightning bolt, his training, and cunning reappeared. He followed the patrol for days, and learned their routines. And one night, he sprung his trap. Standing, blood soaked, in the remains of the patrol, he regained his spark. This is what he was ment for....

Tidel has been searching for the better part of a year, and now, finally, he has managed to track down Strike Force Lantilles. Hopefully this legendary group of rebels can help him do some real damage to the Empire.

Motivation

REVENGE (on the Empire)
The character is driven by one of the oldest and most primal causes in the Galaxy—the desire to avenge some real or perceived wrong the character has suffered. The character's hunger for vengeance may be justified or not. but it is a cold, heartless master that can drive the character to obsession.

Duties

SABOTAGE: Value 120
The largest and most powerful military force in the history of the galaxy is also the most vulnerable to acts of destruction and asset denial. The character is focused on disrupting Imperial operations in any way possible, whether it's the manufacture of weapons, troop movements, supply shipments, banking systems, or any other key operation, in order to make the Empire act more slowly and less capably. Truly showy acts of destruction also work to erode a population's will to support the Empire, or so the PC often believes (though the Alliance expressly forbids actual acts of terrorism).

Description

Tidel is covered in grayish-brown fur. Is about 40 years of age, and has intense green eyes. Standing up, he is about 1.75 meters, but can often be seen running on all fours.

**Cunning snare**
Once per encounter, the character may take the Cunning Snare action to use materials in his environment to assemble a trap within short range. Each time another character moves to engaged range of the trap, he must make an Opposed Vigilance vs Survival check against the character who placed the trap. If the character who triggers the trap fails, he suffers wounds (these ignore soak) equal to the trappers cunning characteristic, plus 1 additional wound per failure. The trapper may spend threat generated by the check to disorient the character for 1 round per threat. 3 treat or Despair to immobilize the character for 1 round, and Despair to stagger the character for 1 round. Once a character springs the trap, it is expended, at the GM's discretion, the trapper may spend Despair for the check to have it remain functional for one extra use.
