Background
Father was black market merchant (not a bad dude by black market standards) just trying to provide for his wife & daughter (comfortable but modest life). He specialized in the trafficking of ancient relics, including Jedi relics. Though Dujo had bought many of these relics from my father in the past, it enraged him that my father did not sell to him exclusively. In his rage and greed, Dujo arranged to have my father killed. He recovered all of the Jedi relics my father had aside from those he had given to me as gifts; a lightsaber & holocron housing (?) the memory of a Shien Master.
I was a young teen (maybe 13) when this happened & it threw my mother & I into poverty without his income. She barely scraped by and I learned to steal & deceive (sticky fingers & silver tongue) to help her and myself. Over the years, what free time I had, I spent training in secret with the holocron and the beautiful old lightsaber (purple) that was a gift from my father before he died. He knew that I had always been fascinated by & sensitive to the force so when he came across them in his trade, he knew they would make perfect gifts for me. I trained to protect myself & my mother and had ambitions to one day avenge my father's death.
Since my mother is very poor she lives in a bad area of town & Black Sun thugs are always shaking her down for money & threatening to sell her into slavery if she cannot keep paying them. Sadly I had to sell the holocron for money. I still need to keep sending her money to keep her out of immediate danger until I can somehow remove her from harm's way.
