Background
Whitipun was born on the planet Kushiban and due to the secluded nature of his people and planet he was almost too old to join the order as a padawan. As a child before joining the order he knew there was something that separated him from the other children in his tribe, and they knew it too, he had to grow up fast even for a kushiban as his mother mad passed in childbirth and his father had died during a Xinkra-beast attack only two months later. He was raised primarily by the village chief, and spent most of his days helping with various chores and sitting in on tribe meetings. When the jedi arrived on their planet to bring Whit to the order most of the tribe was afraid of the large Beselisk but Whit knew he was a friend, and upon learning of the opportunity went with the woman to the jedi temple. Despite everyone being much more different then his home planet he finally felt like he was where he belonged and took to every aspect of his training as he could. He loved everything he learned especially learning everything he could about the lore of the order and the history of the jedi.
Whit was not very active in the war, before the war broke out him and his Master were on Dantooine leading an expedition searching for ancient jedi artifacts from the temple there. When his Master was called to the war Whit begged to stay on Dantooine, he wasn't a warrior, and his Master agreed it was better for him to stay so for the next few years he lead the expedition he learned plenty about the orders past. The news of Order 66 didn't even reach him until a squad of troopers came to Dantooine to hunt him down. He hid deep in the ruins waiting for them to leave, eventually sneaking off planet he kept moving from then on, trying to find planets with jedi and even sith temples, trying to keep the history of the force alive.
