Background

Condren Gale was one of Imperial Intelligence's rising stars. Trained in their central academy on Coruscant, Condren learned many different skills that would be useful in the field, but her greatest skill was computer work, slicing enemy systems and preventing friendly systems from being sliced.

During her training, Condren was assigned to oversee security at a high elite ball, and had an encounter with the wealthy heiress Rin Tohsaka, stockholder in Arakyd Industries. This encounter quickly led to the bedroom, and while they simply remained cordial friends after this, Condren always held some feelings for her - which clouded her judgement when it really counted.

One of her first true assignments after graduating was a cyber-terrorist called 'Gandr-22'. In reality they were more vigilante than terrorist, exposing corruption and injustice across Coruscant. Unfortunately, Gandr-22 was exposing many backroom deals that supported the Empire, and so Intelligence sent in Condren, with her skills at counter-hacking. The job seemed to drag on, lead after lead vanishing before Condren could fully trace it. In frustration, Condren confided in the one person she thought she could trust - Rin, the woman who she'd fallen in love with. Surprisingly, this seemed the break in the case Condren was looking for, as Rin started pointing Condren in new directions. She finally started making headway, and a few short months later, Condren finally arrested the infamous hacker. Or so she thought.

While other agents were interrogating the prisoner, who protested his innocence, Imperial Intelligence HQ started going haywire. Its systems were being hacked, and it had all the earmarks of a Gandr-22 hack!

A message was included in the hack, and in it Gandr-22 revealed their identity - it was Rin, long since having fled Coruscant. She believed the Empire had grown corrupt and greedy, and as such had used her influence to expose the corruption, even attacking executives in Arakyd to throw people off the trail. And Condren confiding in her had given Rin the perfect opportunity to throw them a false trail and cover her escape. She apologized to Condren, but said she did what she must, to provide a better future for the galaxy.

Condren was devastated, learning that one she loved so much had betrayed her so deeply. The blunder also devastated her career, and while ostensibly she was sent out to track down Rin and bring her to justice, it was considered a wild goose chase, and Condren was basically being deposited on the Rim, for her career to die.

She would not accept this, though, swearing vengeance upon Rin, as the love she had held easily morphed into hate. She will not stop until Rin is brought to justice, be that facing trial in the courts, or being gunned down while resisting arrest...

Motivation

Ambition/Revenge - Condren was deeply betrayed and wronged by the slicer Rin Tohsaka. She will not rest until the cyber-vigilante is brought to justice...

Duties

Internal Security (13 Points) - As an Imperial Intelligence Agent, Condren is dedicated to securing the Empire against traitors and dissidents. The fact that she focuses on electronic warfare as opposed to physical warfare matters little.

Rank: Second Lieutenant
Prestige Points Available: 1
Prestige Points Spent: 3
* 1 spent on 2500 Credits
* 2 spent to Promote from Junior Lieutenant

Bad Reputation Obligation (10 Points) - Condren has had a serious blow dealt to her reputation by her blunders in the Gandr-22 case. The rest of Imperial Intelligence deems her easily subverted. She must capture Rin Tohsaka to restore her reputation, but even that is not a guarantee that it will re-earn people's respect...

Description

Condren is a 21-year-old Human female, with dark red hair, blue eyes, and a slender build. She is almost always wearing her Imperial Intelligence uniform, with or without battle armor over it.
