Background
Gren Tref'lam is a Bothan Doctor and Scholar. Gren's father Orsk Tref'lam was in the employ of multiple noble families on the planet of Corellia. He was a doctor and consultant who helped leaders make heavy decisions and assess risks. He was a good and learned man. Pure of intentions and heart he was well respected but ultimately fell to the conspiring of those within the darker sides of the noble families.
Gren was taught by his father and had plans to attend the University of Corellia.
Then the betrayal happened. Gren's father uncovered too much and was deemed a risk and no longer worth keeping alive. He was killed by one of the families that once respected him.
Gren was approached to replace his father as a consultant to the leaders of these families. But unable to get answers about his father's death, Gren continued to push for the truth. Eventually, those involved grew tired of Gren's pursuit and began to worry about him eroding the cover ups they had created.
Gren ran.
After running from Corellia, Gren found his skills as a surgeon and his extensive knowledge useful to many different crime families and other less than reputable groups. It was enough for him to use his skills to make enough of a living and stay out of the reach of the nobles of Corellia and those that wish him dead. It's been enough to get by for years. So much that any memory of his life before doesn't even seem like his.
Motivation
To always continue learning as he was denied his education at the University and continue his father's good-hearted helping of people.
Obligations
Betrayal - Gren's father was killed by the family he was loyal to for not going along with the corruption he uncovered. They expected Gren's loyalty and tried to promote him to his father's lofty position.
Description
Short even by Bothan standards, Gren stands about 4 and half fett tall.
He has brown fur that is heavily highlighted with grey.
He uses small eyeglasses as his vision isn't all that it used to be when he was younger. Years of studying hasn't helped with that.
