The last in a line of defunct prototype scouting droids, Z3-N7 was programmed for lone survival. Long after the others made in his model had powered down, faced paradox errors, or rusted away, Zee survived, as he was made to do.
Zee has been around for a long time, though he is unsure how long. His earliest accessible memory log consists of a recording of the sand beneath his robotic feet as he treads through some sort of desert; the sun glaring down from above- or perhaps, it's two suns. Z3 does not concern himself too much with the passage of time. He will continue to survive as he has always done: replacing damaged pieces of his chassis with any scrap that he could find along the way, rewriting his personality parameters to adapt to new social situations, or perhaps even removing the boundaries on his logic algorithms, even if it does risk the possibility of a logic paradox.
With no where else to go and the conclusion that he is unwanted in this galaxy, Zee found a home with the Survivors. A band of sentients who accept him for the droid that he is now and not the droid he was originally programmed to be.

Ambition - Survival
Z3-N7 understands only bits and pieces of his original programming; programming which allows him to "adapt" and "survive" in a unique situation. Countless years of personal "rewrites" to his programming to adapt and a lack of memory wipes has caused him to lose his original purpose and develop a few bugs and glitches. Zee sees these "traits" as part of his "personality" that he is quite proud of developing. Nevertheless, the only purpose he remembers having is survival.

Obligation (10) - Oath
Zee took an oath of allegiance when the Survivors welcomed him in. He plans on keeping that oath by doing everything in his power to advance their interests.

Duty (10) - Intelligence (Logistics & Law Enforcement)
Despite his age, Z3's adaptable programming has allowed him to observe and learn from hundreds of battles. His tactical wit is sharp and his eye keen.

Duty (0) - Mark of the Survivor

Z3-N7 is a tall, humanoid-shaped droid with a smooth metallic faceplate that holds his photosensors; the faceplate is well taken care of in comparison to the rest of his chassis - its reflective black plating free of scratches and rust. The condition of his 'head' can be attributed to the cloth hood from his cloak that he often keeps raised to hide his unfamiliar model-type from civilians.
The rest of Z3's chassis does not retain the same condition as his faceplate. Through years of survival and adaptation, Zee has repaired himself over 2,000 times, using various scraps and materials that were available to him at the time which caused him to become a conglomeration of different parts from numerous unique droid models. Both of his arms seem to be stolen off of an older model of Tactician droids, but one is a dusty gray (left) and the other, a snowy white color. His torso is always covered by his weathered cloak and a heavy, black vest with multiple pockets. His legs are similarly covered by baggy, green military pants that hang over dark, ripped boots.
Though his original model only spoke binary, at some point in his adventures Zee found and installed a vocabulator inside of himself allowing him to speak a multitude of languages and vocalize them, instead of a series of squeaks and whistles.
