Background
Being a rare black twi'lek, Tyreek was always singled out not only by his rulers, but also his fellow twi'leks. He was separated from his entire family at a young age. After years of captivity, Tyreek decided enough was enough. He snuck into a guard's office one night, stole a blaster rifle, and used it to get a pilot to take him to Tatooine, as this is the only planet he had overheard the guards talking about, at gunpoint. During the flight, it turned out that the pilot was a sympathiser to his cause, so the pilot convinced his colleagues that everything was fine, so they could both leave without suspicion. They both got a job doing glass collecting in a bar, as the owner thought that Tyreek's unique look would attract customers, and they split the already low wages and slept in the ship. Tyreek knew that this planet was a shady one, so he practised shooting his gun in the desert for years, until he was a crackshot, then started to find work as a hired gun. He used this job to travel the galaxy in hopes of running into his sister on a job. As the work got shadier, Tyreek and the pilot had argument, leading to Tyreek killing him, leaving him as a lone mercenary.
Motivation
One of Tyreek's biggest motivations is to eventually find a home, somewhere he belongs, as he has never had such a place in his entire life.
Obligations
His mother and father he assumed were executed, however his younger sister he believed would be sold into slavery, as such a young person would pose no threat and would be better used to make a profit on. The thought of his sister being used and abused kept Tyreek up at night, but also fed a growing desire in him to escape his rulers. He now seeks the galaxy to find his sister, in the hopes she is still alive somewhere.
