Background
Anree was just a boy. A poor Rodian living on some backwater spacer pit-stop. He was likely destined for a mine or a prison on some asteroid. At least, that's what he was always told. But Anree had a gift. Something that made him exceptional. While it would never be his looks or his strength, his mind was as sharp and bright as a Jedi's blade. Once he was overcome by the legends and tales of his heroes, and sought to emulate them, he put his talents to good use.
Rodian agility served him well as a pick-pocket. Served him doubly-well when a quick slip of the binders was necessary. While his mother couldn't understand the boy's need to steal and re-distribute funds, he always saw it as a necessity. A true Mandalorian takes any chance he can get to train his skills, don't you know?
Time spent in the work-pit of a local swoop racer gave him the tools and skills necessary to invent, build, and fix. The boy knew he would never go blade for blade with a Jedi Knight, but if he could find a way to level the field, and do it in style, so much the better.
Then his last job in a crime lord's slicer hive introduced him to the wide world of large scale theft...for fun and profit. While he chafed at the idea of stealing just to line some jerk's pocket, he consoled himself by remembering that any training was good training, and one day he would repay the debt.
Once Anree came of age, he decided it was time to put his skills to the test. After orchestrating a slice into his previous employer's accounts and shifting a few zeroes around, he escaped his bonds and struck out on his own. Once off-world, he cleared his debt by re-paying those innocents he had stolen from, leaving some credits for his mother and the urchins left behind, and said farewell.
Motivation
Anree is motivated most by his Ambition to gain a higher Status. All his life, he was told he was just a Rodian, a nobody, a lost cause. He would like nothing more than to prove his fears and doubts wrong, and as such, will never cease to better himself and be seen as someone worthy of praise.
Anree also has a strong sense of motivation in respect to advancing the Cause of the Weak. Growing up bullied, poor, and hungry can do a lot to break you down. Sometimes there are those that can take that negativity, and spin it well. Anree was always someone who could do that, and always tried to help those around him from falling to despair. Now an adult, Anree makes it a priority to continue this, and spread his own brand of aid anywhere it may be needed.
Obligations
Obsession: Mandalorian Lore/ Boba Fett
At some point in Anree's young life, he became acquainted with the stories and tales the spacers told of the ferocious Mandalorians. Countless tellings and retellings fueled the boy's imagination and no story was as entertaining as one told about the great Boba Fett. Fett, the hunter of Wookies, equal of the Sith Lord Vader, immortal and unstoppable. This was someone to look up to. This was someone to aspire to.
Whatever pocket credits he could snatch, or whatever beaten tech he restored and sold funded a solitary passion. The boy would spare no expense (in his eyes) and stop at nothing to carve out his own piece of Mandalorian glory. Anything a Mandalorian so much as looked at was near sacred for the boy, and soon he had amassed a collection that even a mythical tiny fishwoman would be impressed by.
Anree has continued this obsession well into adulthood, and while the terms of the obsession are somewhat different, the passion has not subsided. He will stop at nothing and take any chance for his hero to notice him and approve of his entry into the family of Mandalore.
