Background
Betrayed by his former bandmates–Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes, who have since found a replacement and are now moderately famous within the genre. Sh'bi led the life of a traveling musician since. Filling for gigs at scummy cantinas and hitching rides from planet to planet, moons to moons, systems to systems.
After hearing some industry gossip that his former band was set to perform in the Mos Eisley cantina on Tatooine, he found himself following that lead to the sandy planet. But due to the unpredictable schedule of the ride he hitched, he arrived a couple of days late, missed the show, and was now stranded in Mos Shuuta playing at the local cantina. A particular patron–Teemo the Hutt, the local crime lord–enjoyed Sh'bi's music so much, he took him in to be his personal musician. An offer Sh'bi didn't have the option to refuse.

Obsession (10)
Will sometimes wake up with a catchy tune stuck in his head, which he is compelled to fill in. Being a natural musician, even (almost) synesthetic, this can affect his other senses and alertness.
Betrayal (5)
Was unceremoniously replaced in his former Bith Jizz band, without notice, by the Human manager who had signed them.
After barely escaping Tatooine on The Baskal with a ragtag crew of its original surviving members and new ones, they made their way to Coruscant. Upon landing, a HoloAd caught his eyes (and ears) as soon as the landing ramp descended–the Modal Nodes were set to perform at the club Pink Nebula that same day. Without thinking, Sh'bi headed straight for the venue without informing the crew. He somehow successfully sabotaged the band's show after being fueled up on liquid courage (and stupidity). However, thanks to the slick tongue of their manager, the fiasco was turned into a positive marketing move.
Paulie, the Human Hutt of a band manager, is aware that Sh'bi was behind the sabotage. As Sh'bi recalls, he was also the one that unceremoniously kicked him out of the band, and replaced him with an arguably better looking but definitely less talented Bith. Sh'bi also saw from the HoloNews report that his actions have caused anguish to those whom he used to call his bandmates–his friends, but he did not feel an iota of satisfaction like he thought he would.
