Background
Aldrin Prestor grew up in the shadow of greatness. As the nephew of Bail Prestor Organa and cousin to Leia, he was raised amidst the grandeur of Alderaan's royal court. Yet, his family's legacy was a burden as much as it was an inspiration. While Bail fought tirelessly against the Empire, Aldrin's parents—having forsaken their duties to the greater good for the comforts of monarchy—remained indifferent to the struggle.
From a young age, Aldrin was captivated by his uncle's courage and moral conviction. Bail's leadership in the Senate and his clandestine efforts to aid the Rebellion ignited a fire in Aldrin that his sheltered upbringing could never extinguish. He admired Bail’s ability to fight the Empire with a blend of diplomacy and covert resistance, seeing in him the embodiment of what a true leader should be.
However, growing up alongside his cousin Leia, Aldrin couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of frustration. While she was being groomed for leadership and actively participating in their family's mission, he was stifled by his parents' apathy. The disconnect between the values he held dear and the complacency of his immediate family created a chasm that only widened with time.
At 18, with a heart full of determination and a mind set on making a difference, Aldrin made the hardest decision of his life. He reached out to one of Bail’s trusted contacts within the Rebellion, pleading for a chance to join the cause that his parents had abandoned. When the opportunity finally came, Aldrin didn’t hesitate. He left his home in the dead of night, without a word to his family, setting out to carve his own path.
Now, as a young recruit in the Rebellion, Aldrin is driven by a desire to honor the legacy of his uncle and cousin while forging his own identity. He carries with him the weight of his family’s divided loyalties but is determined to prove that he, too, can be a force for change in the galaxy.
