Peace turned to War
Previously, Darunia was a wrestler on a remote outer world planet. Here, the economy was heavily dependent on the matches that were held weekly. Gambling, fighting, and security were all easy ways to make money. As the champion, he held onto a fairly comfy life for himself and his son.

That was until the Empire's reach finally made it to the planet. The combatants were urged to fight for the Empire, and some did, but anyone who didn't had loved ones taken from them in an effort to persuade.

What the Empire didn't know was that the champion loved his son to the point that he'd fight them and now through a good chunk of the battalion charged with recruitment. With the others who were in his situation behind him, Darunia went to save his son successfully. The empire slaughtered alot of the captives before they could reach them, but Daruk and a couple others lived. Understandably, Darunia returned the favor alongside his fellow competitors. And maybe entire ship is now scrap metal to expand the platform.

Now, Darunia and his son are in a different part of the galaxy and he's joined a guild of some sort and is working security, but nothing is particularly of interest to him anymore. While he has no love for the empire, he is not trying to eradicate them at the moment. He will find what he wants one day.

Best in the Field
Since the incident with the empire, he has been looking for something. He'd felt like a part of him was missing, but could not find it. He had Daruk, so the only thing he loved that he didn't have was the thrill of the fight. The rush of climbing to the top and bruising others to get there was something he missed dearly. Now he just needs to find something to fit.

Family
He has a son, Daruk, who is his pride and joy. He protects him, fights for him, and with bring down the Empire if they touch him again.
