Background

Born into Clan Skirata, Arde’s destiny seemed laid out before him from his day of birth. With his clan directly involved in the training of Clones for the Grand Army of the Republic, Arde too was trained to be a fearsome warrior from an early age. With the Rise of the Empire though, his father was killed during the Kamino Uprising, and his mother fled with Arde to the planet of Concord Dawn. Having helped trained clones in the past, The Mandalorian Protectors took Arde under their wing, continuing his training.

While he was unhappy when the Protectors forged an agreement with the Empire, it kept the young Arde busy. He was shaping out to be a fine warrior, and he enjoyed going on missions with the Protectors to root out criminals on Concord Dawn and the surrounding space.

On one such mission, the Protectors found themselves assaulting a Black Sun hideout on one of Concord Dawn’s moons. The Black Sun had been using the location to avoid Imperial Patrols, so the Empire had ‘requested’ that the Protectors remove them. The assault was fast and bloody, and the Protectors made short work of the Black Sun that resisted. Strangely though, not all did, and Arde was surprised to find that some of the hideout’s occupants had been slaves, not criminals.

In true Mandalorian fashion, the Protectors had offered the slaves freedom, and a chance to join the Protectors if they so wished. Many refused, but some agreed. Arde was surprised to find himself with a brother, a Gank not much younger then himself named Naz, His mother Talia had readily accepted the adoption. The young Gank brought him no end of annoyance at first, as Talia insisted that Arde help him become a Mandalorian, but as time drug on, Naz became more and more accustomed to the life.

Arde was surprised to find the technical aptitude his new brother had, and was even more surprised to find him willing to improve Arde’s armor and weaponry. He wasn’t as skilled a warrior as Naz, but as their training progressed and Naz built his own suit of beskar’gam, Arde began taking him along on missions with the Protectors.

Things were good, for a time at least. Until the Imperial Super Commandos attacked. Though it wounded his pride, Arde barely escaped with his life as Naz dragged him out of the camp and away from the attack to safety. Alone, Arde and Naz kept one another alive, swearing vengeance on the Empire. As Bo-Katan took up the title of Mand’alor, Arde was quick to suggest they join the Mandalorian resistance, and the two set off for Mandalore and joined up with

Motivation

Overthrow the Empire: Enraged by the destruction of the Mandalorian Protectors on Concord Dawn, Arde would like nothing more then to exact revenge.

Expertise: Trained from a young age, Arde strongly desires to become a perfect Mandalorian Warrior.

Oath (10): Arde adheres to the Mandalorian Code stringently, and will go to any lengths to adhere to that code.
